Abstract

Islamic revolution of Iran is one of the greatest and the most influential events in the world under the Imam Khomeini’s leadership. The Islamic Revolution of Iran as a religious revolution, was considered as a significant phenomenon thinking of the return of ancient glory of the Islamic world. Specific and global characteristics of the Islamic Revolution rising from elements of religion and religious characteristics caused that this historical upheaval trespass Iranian borders and be influential not only in the Islamic world, but also in all human societies.
 The present study tries to investigate the effects of the Islamic Revolution on its surrounding regions and explain its different dimensions and attitudes dominating those components and their consequent upheavals.
 To the end, Distribution Theory was taken as the theoretical framework. The results obtained from this study indicate that the Islamic Revolution has caused the restoration of socio-political life and organization in the countries of the region and resulted in the formation of the Islamic revolution and self-awareness of nations in the Middle Ea
