Abstract This article examines the strategic alignment of the United States and religious fundamentalism from 2011 to 2024 and its impact on the Islamic Awakening, emphasizing the strategic use of these seemingly contradictory alliances to achieve geopolitical goals. How did these alignments lead to the removal of Assad in Syria and the re-establishment of the Taliban in Afghanistan? (Problem Statement) What impact has the alignment between the United States and religious fundamentalist groups (with an emphasis on the rise of Golani in Syria and the Taliban in Afghanistan) had on the Islamic Awakening? (Question) The hypothesis of this article, which has been attempted to be examined with a qualitative approach and an analytical and explanatory method (Method), is: The alignment between the United States and religious fundamentalism has led to the rise of Golani and the removal of Assad in Syria, and the rise of the Taliban and the removal of the republican system in Afghanistan, as well as increased tension in the region. This has led to increased awareness and insight among currents relying on the Islamic Awakening; America's alignment with religious fundamentalist movements has not been done to combat extremism, but rather to create destabilize the region, and prevent the formation of an independent Islamic discourse against the global liberal capitalist order (Findings)
